KRIVET Hosts the ‘2023 KRIVET Work Experience and Practical Enterprise Activation Seminar’

The Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET) held the ‘2023 KRIVET Work Experience and Practical Enterprise Activation Seminar,’ focusing on strategies and programs to help young people and students adapt to workplaces and enter industrial fields.

Dr. Jongho Jeon of KRIVET presented the outcomes of the ‘Digital Competency-Based Job Experience Enterprise Program’, an Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiative.

Ms. Minjeong Kim, CEO of KoreaPEN, introduced case studies of work experience enterprise programs for youth.

Experts from various organizations, including the National Institute for International Education, the Korea Federation of Textile Industries, the Ulsan Metropolitan City Teacher Training Institute, and AI learning companies, discussed ways to equip youth and students with digital skills, collaboration techniques, and communication abilities to prepare them for future workplaces.

KRIVET, a government-affiliated research institution under the Prime Minister’s Office, conducts policy research and initiatives to foster lifelong vocational skills development.

The seminar also showcased research collaboration outcomes supporting Indonesia's industrial development and explored future strategies for program enhancement.
