브레멘에서 만난 한국-독일 마이스터 고등학교 학생들, 글로벌 팀으로서의 첫주를 성공적으로 마무리하였습니다.

2023년도 서울로봇고등학교 글로벌 현장학습 프로그램이 독일 브레멘에서 진행되었습니다.

펜월드와이드협회 한국본부 코리아펜의 기업가체험 PE(실습기업) 프로그램을 기반으로 해서, 현지 기술기반 종합학교인 TBZ Mitte(Technische Bildungszentrum Mitte) in Bremen, 유럽학교인 Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen, 그리고 브레멘 교육부 (Freie Hansestadt Bremen Die Senatorin für Kinder und Bildung)가 참여하고 협조하는 가운데, 기술 기반 가상 스타트업의 글로벌 현장실습 활동이 9월 4일~16일, 2주간에 걸쳐 이루어지고 있습니다.

서울로봇고등학교에서 로봇 설계, 제어, 시스템 등을 전공하는 2학년 20명으로 구성된 한국 참여자들은 독일에 가기 전 90시간의 방과 후 과정으로 영어를 기본 언어로 하여, 자기주도적으로 진행하는 기업가 체험 PE(실습기업, 모의기업) 프로그램에 참여하여 4개의 기술기반 모의 스타트업을 설립하였습니다. 

이렇게 해서 설립된 4개 스타트업 PE(모의기업)은 TBZ Mitte에서 기술분야를 전공하는 20명의 학생들이 팀원으로 참여하면서 독일 브레멘에서 글로벌 팀으로 발전되었습니다. 

9월 첫 주, 글로벌 기업가 체험 PE 프로그램을 통해 총 40명 (한국학생 20명, 독일학생 20명)의 학생들은 글로벌 팀 빌딩, 기술적 결함을 보완하는 제품 기획, 모의투자 유치 발표회 준비를 하였으며, 9월 8일 금요일에는 TBZ  Mitte에서 도보 10분 거리에 위치한 유럽학교인 Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen를 방문하여 모의투자유치발표회를 진행하였습니다.

본 행사는 Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen에서 경제학과 외국어를 전공하는 학생 10여명과 교직원 4명이 모의 투자자로 참여한 가운데 매우 성공적으로 진행 되었습니다. 

 그 외 현지 학습 활동으로 한국 학생들은 홈스테이 룸메이트로 매칭된 독일 학생들의 현지 아침 수업을 한두시간에 걸쳐 함께 참여하였고, 한국학생들을 위해 특별히 준비된 독일 자동화 시스템 수업에도 참여하였습니다.

또한 현지 기업 및 기관 방문 프로그램과 문화 체험 프로그램이 진행 되었는데,

●  학교 가든에서 이루어진 바베큐 뷔페

●  브레멘 유적지가 밀집된 시내 한복판에서 이루어진 Geocaching(일종의 도심 속 숨은 보물 찾기)게임

●  메르세데스 벤츠 회사 방문, Air Bus 회사 방문

●  풍성한 피자와 함께 한 랜파티 등

하루하루가 일생을 통해 잊히지 않을 경험과 추억으로 가득 채워졌습니다.

또하나의 크고도 소중한 경험으로는 독일에서 참여하는 한 학생의 학부모가 40여명의 독일 학생들과 한국 학생들을 자택으로 초대해 가든 파티를 열어 주셨다는 것입니다.

독일 브레멘의 최고 소세지 바베큐와 독일 학생들의 부모들이 친히 요리해서 보내주신 각종 음식들을 즐기면서 한국 독일 학생들은 공놀이도 하고, 춤도 추고, 서로 친교를 다졌고 타지에서의 한주를 너무나 따뜻하게 마무리하였습니다.

특성화고 글로벌 현장학습 사업은 특성화고·마이스터고 학생들에게 다양한 현장 해외 실습 기회 제공을 통한 글로벌 역량 강화를 목적으로 2011년부터 실시되어 온 교육부 사업인데,

올해 처음 진행하는 서울로봇고등학교-독일TBZ Mitte의 교류는 2024년 4-5월 중에 비슷한 규모의 독일 학생들이 한국을 방문하기로 되어 있어 앞으로의 지속가능한 교류가 더욱 기대됩니다. 

The Korean-German Vocational High School students who met in Bremen have successfully completed their first week as a global team.

The 2023 Seoul Robot High School Global Competency Development Program was operated in Bremen, Germany during September 4 to 15, 2023. This program, based on the Practical Enterprise (PE) program for Entrepreneurial skills development provided by the Korea Pen, the Korean Central Office of PEN Worldwide Association, was executed in collaboration with TBZ Mitte (Technische Bildungszentrum Mitte) in Bremen, the Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen, as well as Hansestadt Bremen Die Senatorin für Kinder und Bildung.

The Korean participants, consisting of 20 second-year students majoring in robot design, control, and systems at Seoul Robotics High School, underwent a 90-hour after-school course conducted primarily in English before traveling to Germany. They participated in the Entrepreneurship Practice Enterprise program and established four technology-based virtual startups.

These four startup PEs, so-called virtual enterprises, formed a global team in Bremen, Germany, together with 20 students majoring in technology at TBZ Mitte participating as team members.

During the first week of September, a total of 40 students (20 Korean students and 20 German students) worked on global team building, product reinforcement with technical features, and mock investment pitch. 

On Friday, the 8th of September, they visited Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen, a European school located a 10-minute walk from TBZ Mitte, and conducted a mock investment attraction presentation. This event was highly successful, with approximately 10 students majoring in economics and foreign languages and four faculty members from Europaschule Schulzentrum Utbremen participating as mock investors.

In addition to their learning activities on campus, Korean students attended regular morning class with their German homestay roommates and also participated in a German automation system class specially prepared for them by the German teacher.

Furthermore, they enjoyed company visit program as well as cultural experience events:

• Barbecue buffet in the school garden.

• Geocaching (a treasure hunting activity in the city center of Bremen, where historical sites are concentrated).

• Visit to the Mercedes Benz company and AirBus

• LAN party with plenty of pizza, and more.

Every day was filled with experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

Another remarkable and valuable experience was when the parent of a German student invited approximately 40 German and Korean students to his home for a garden party. They enjoyed the finest sausage barbecue in Bremen, Germany, along with various foods prepared and sent by the German students' parents. The Korean and German students played ball games, danced, and strengthened their friendships with each other, ending their week in a foreign country on a very warm note.

The specialized high school global field learning project, initiated by the Ministry of Education in 2011, aims to enhance students' global capabilities by offering various overseas training opportunities to students of specialized high schools and Meister high schools. 

The exchange between Seoul Robotics High School and Germany's TBZ Mitte, taking place for the first time this year, is expected to lead to more sustainable exchanges in the future, as an equal number of German students are scheduled to visit Korea in the first half of 2024.
