독일은 일-학습병행 차원에서 비즈니스 과정을 보다 현실감 있게 배울 수 있도록 실습기업과 실제 기업이 결합된 형태의 실습기업을 운영하고 있다. 그 첫 번째 사례로 교내에서 운영하는 학교기업 형태의 실습기업(Schuelerfirmen)이 있다. 창업이나 비즈니스 과정에 관심이 있는 학생들은 사업 리스크가 적은 교내 매점을 운영하는 방식으로 비즈니스의 전체적인 운영 과정에서 요구되는 기초적인 업무와 전체적인 과정을 보다 현실감 있게 배울 수 있다. 현재 독일은 약 250개의 교내 실습기업을 운영하고 있다.

이와 더불어 실제 기업과 결합하여 운영하는 실습기업이 있다. 참가자는 자신의 실습기업 업무와 비즈니스 과정을 멘토링해주는 멘토기업의 제품과 서비스를 사업 아이템으로 선정하여 작은 사업부의 형태로 운영한다. 비록 제한된 규모로 실습기업이 운영되지만, 기존에 운영되는 실습기업과의 차이는 가상의 기업 생태계를 넘어 실제 비즈니스 과정을 경험하여 보다 전문적인 비즈니스 과정을 체험할 수 있다는 것이다. 이 외에도 독일에서는 직원들과 신입 사원, 또는 해당 기업에 취직하고자 하는 인재들의 업무 적응도와 능력을 향상시키기 위해 위해 다음 아래와 같이 실재 기업 안에 실습기업을 운영하고 있다.

Schroten run by TÜV Nord, a big company doing all kinds of certification for technical machines like cars, trucks, CNC machines, etc. They guarantee the safety and compliance to EU rules. Important company in GermanyZAK run by BIZERBA, Leading manufacturer of technical scales In general Germay have not many real companies in Germany running Practice Enterprises because of their well established “Dual system” which incorporates practical education. School-based enterprises Germany has School-based enterprises. They are so called “Schuelerfirmen”. Schueler= the German word for a student at school=Schule There are some 250.. More information can be found at www.schuelerfirmen.de. The intention is similar to Korean's, a.) giving students a first insight in business procedure, b.) earning some extra money for the schools. Compared to Practice Enterprises : because of product risk they sell only no risk things like candy, paper, pencils. They cover only a small part of business procedures, more like a simple shop. There is a third type called “Juniorfirmen”. Thea are run by real companies, sell real products or services of the mother company on a limited scale (because of product risk) but are working more professional.  The Juniorfirmen are part of the Dual System education and intended to train more practice.
